Regulation

5° Edition, Sunday 18 March 2011- Team timetrial for amatorial cyclist.

Asd New Life with the approval of FCI is organizing the 5° edition of "Cronosquadre della Versilia Michele Bartoli".
Participants:
The event is open to amatorial cyclist, both men and women, who are FCI members, and to all licensed members of other organizations (UISP, ACLI etc..) .Members of foreign federations will be admitted if the Federation in question is recognized by UCI and with the  presentation at the desk of a medical certificate for amatorial agonistic cycling activity.Cyclist from 19 to 69 years of age may participate.By signing the registration form, the participants guarantee their good behavior during and following the event.Each participant must also declare to be in good health, to posses a medical certificate for amatorial cycling activity(dm 18 Febaruary 1982) to hold a valid membership licence, and to have read and approved these regulations.The participant must also agree to treatment of their personal data in accordance with law n.675 of 31 december 1996.
Date and place:
18 March 2011 in Forte dei Marmi (Lu) Italy, with start of the first team at 9.00 am.
Composition of the Team
The team can be composed by men, women or mixed.Each team can be composed from 5 to 8 participants.Finish time is considered on the forth atlete arrived.
Registration
You can register your Team downloading  and filling the form, you find in the registration page.Then you must make the paiement by bank transfer. The registration form and the receipt of payment may be sent  by  fax to n° +39058322568 or +390583277167 or by mail to info@cronosquadredellaversilia.it.(applications not accompanied by receipt will be considered unvalid).The end for registration will be the 1sth March 2012, but if the maximum numbers of participants previous from the Organizations will be excedeed, the subscription will be closed before this terms.
The data of team members (the number of comprehensive new 2012 licence) must be submitted no later than 20/02/2012. The teams that do not send them to you in such data or incomplete by the deadline will be pushed out by the order of departure, without compensation of fees paid.

Registration fee

The registration fee is € 230,00 for each Team until 10/11/2011, and € 280,00 for each Team from 11/11/2011 until 1/03/2012.This fee includes registration for the race, medical and mechanical assistance (excluding spare parts), race pack with gadget, lunch and shower after the race, one day chip to be classified.

Substitutions

Each Team will have the possibility to  make three substitutions, on Saturday 17/3 at the reception desk.

Use of an approved protective helmet is compulsory.

Meetingplace

The day before the race, from 11am to 13pm, and from 14pm to 19pm, the athletes or a leader for each Team may present it at the Meetingpoint with all the licenses and medical certificates to withdraw the numbers for race and the oneday chip to use during the race.The one day chip must be returns to the responsible of the Organization after the race.

 Classification:

The category rankings will be determined according to the following age ranges derived from the sum of the age of Team component (by year of birth.
Band A: up to 312 years to 8 athletes, up to 273 years to 7 athletes, up to 234 years for 6 athletes, up to 195 for 5 athletes. (average up to 39 years)
Band B: from 313 up to 432 years to 8 athletes from 274 up to 378 for 7 athletes, from 235 to 324 for 6 athletes and 196 to 270 for 5 athletes. (average 40 to 54 years)
Band C over 432 for 8, plus 378 (for 7 athletes) than for 6 324 athletes and over 270 athletes for 5. (average over 54 years)

AWARDS
We will make the following awards:
Top 3 teams classified overall. (The 3 teams will be awarded with the medal in their age band, but not with the price that will be delivered to the teams that follow, to avoid double award)
Top 3 teams of Age Band A
Top 3 teams of Age Band B
Top 3 teams of Age Band C
Top 3 mixed teams (with at least one woman placed in the top 5 of the team arrival position).
Top 3 women's teams.

 
 TECHNICAL REGULATION AND BEHAVIOR
 
COMPETITORS:
The competitors must reach the point of departure at least 10 minutes before the time indicated on the order of departure, and follow the instructions of the organizers for the starting line up on the ramp.
Since the road is completely closed to traffic, each team is allowed one hour and thirty minutes from its starting time to complete the course.
It is forbidden to use the race route after the start of the first team (at 09,00). If a team  is identified on the course outside its own allocated race time, it will be penalized and in case of incident will be reported in accordance to the law.
Any team that arrives on the start line after its allocated time will not be allowed to start.
